Aunt Mary Solitaire
This engaging solitaire game bears similarities to Yukon Solitaire but introduces some subtle variations that may necessitate a different strategic approach. At the outset, each of the six tableau piles is dealt six cards, with the first pile having all six cards face up, the second pile five face-up cards, continuing in this pattern until the sixth pile, which has just one face-up card. The remaining cards form the stock pile for draw opportunities. The primary goal is to transfer all cards into four foundation piles, built sequentially from Ace to King within each suit. The tableau piles are constructed downward in alternating colors, permitting the movement of sequences as long as they adhere to this rule. Players may move any valid sequence of tableau cards and place them onto another tableau pile, provided the placement rules are met. When a tableau pile is emptied, only a King can be moved into that space, maintaining the gameplay rules. Additionally, players can draw one card from the stock and place it onto a tableau pile following the same building rules. Cards from either the stock or tableau can also be moved to the foundation piles once they meet the criteria. Once the stock pile is exhausted, no redeals are permitted, adding an element of urgency to the game. With strategic planning and a bit of luck, it’s possible to move all cards to the foundation piles, maximizing your score based on the number of cards successfully sorted into foundations. This challenging solitaire variant requires careful thought and planning, rewarding players who can adapt their strategy to the specific rules and nuances of this game similar to Yukon Solitaire.
